Libby comes to the ASSIST Board after a first chapter in Corporate America and a second, even more rewarding chapter living, working, and raising a family on a boarding school campus in Connecticut. After graduating from the University of Virginia and receiving an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Libby worked in corporate planning, finance, and marketing, first for Time Inc. and then independently as consultant. She was employed by Choate Rosemary Hall in 2005, eventually becoming the school’s first Director of Parent Relations. Her role expanded to include work with Choate’s international students and parents and the opportunity for annual around-the-world travel with the Choate Admission team. This provided an unparalleled opportunity to appreciate different countries and cultures and to develop meaningful relationships with current and prospective Choate families across the globe. Libby especially enjoyed interviewing students abroad and then, as Director of International Students, welcoming those who matriculated to campus and supporting them throughout their Choate careers. A dream job, to say the least…and good preparation for engagement with ASSIST Scholars!
