Welcome to ASSIST Serbia
ASSIST became active in Serbia to help young Serbian students currently in the 9th or 10th grade who would like to spend one year as exchange students in the United States as 10th or 11th graders. There are also very limited places for 12th graders and post-graduates.
Our work in Serbia began in the 2015/16 academic year. Our first two Serbian scholars distinguished themselves in their American independent schools. It is through the leadership of our partner, T & T School of English, that this scholarship competition is made possible. We also work in concert with HMC Projects. To date ASSIST has had 18 Scholars from Serbia.

American schools are generous in offering scholarships to ASSIST students. American donors have also stepped forward to support deserving Scholars. Please visit T & T School of English website for more news about this generous opportunity.
Application Process for 2025/26 Scholarships
Together with our Serbian partner, T & T School of English, scholars interested in study in the US are invited to apply. To apply for the 25/26 school year, you will log into ASSIST's application portal. The application process for scholarships for the 2025/26 school year will begin in mid-September, 2024. Beginning each year on the 15th of September, interested Serbian students can visit the Edu-link website where updated ASSIST scholarship information will be posted.
Once your application has been submitted, you will have access to a checklist listing additional required materials, like teacher recommendations and grade transcripts. We encourage you to check your applicant portal often to see the status of your materials.
Scholarships are also offered to boarding schools in the UK through our colleagues of the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC).
