Welcome to ASSIST Poland

ASSIST Poland was established in 2011, just after the return of the first Polish ASSIST scholarship holder from her one-year stay at an American high school. Her extensive and extraordinary experience resulted in the opening of the ASSIST Poland office. Since then, we have been supporting students - mainly 2nd year high school students - in their efforts to go to the 3rd year of an American private high school. Applicants should be aware that it is virtually impossible to continue their studies in the IB program because the program is not typically offered at ASSIST member schools. People who go to the USA for the next school year will continue their education within the broad core curriculum of an American high school and choose any subjects. Over the last 14 years, over 60 talented Polish students have gone on scholarship to the U.S. through ASSIST.

The ASSIST Program Fee

The ASSIST Program Fee is payable via the ASSIST application portal.  It covers recruitment, placement, a multi-day, in-person orientation, administrative expenses in your country and in the U.S.; and continuing support from ASSIST throughout the exchange year.  It also includes a lifelong network of ASSIST community.

Financial Support for Polish Scholars

Private, independent American high schools offer tuition coverage (or part of it, depending on the type of scholarship received) for ASSIST Scholarship recipients. Over the many years of operation, ASSIST has also acquired sponsors who support families in need by covering some of the costs associated with the trip.

Application Process for 2025/26 Scholarships

The application process for scholarships for the 2025/26 school year will begin in early August 2024 via the ASSIST application portal.
